Second Life Domination Round Table in Planning

As a result of this blog, I frequently get IMs from subs and dommes in SL, asking about a variety of topics. While I do my best to help out, sometimes I don't have enough relevant experience in a given area to authoritatively comment, or other times I think it's a situation where something that may work for me may not work for others. And, you know, sometimes I have questions too! Anyway, it's in the interest of building up the knowledge and skills of the SL domination community that I propose we hold a sort of "Domination Round Table" where SL dommes and doms gather together to discuss common problems and "best practices" in their roles.

I've only spoken to a couple of people so far, and we're only in the earliest stages of planning. We have yet to pick a venue and I've only got a rough list of discussion topics:

  • Balancing Work and Life: How to effectively run an in-world business and care for your pets.
  • How Many Is Too Many?: The feasibility of maintaining a large family of pets.
  • Tasks and Restrictions (SL): Assigning meaningful, ethical tasks to your slaves.
  • Tasks and Restrictions (RL): Extending the relationship outside of SL.
  • Multiple Personalities: Dealing with pets who frequently use alts.
  • When Punishment isn't Play: Distinguishing between roleplayed punishment and real corrective action.
  • Honoring Your Peers: How to respectfully co-exist with your fellow dominants.
  • Essential Equipment: Trading notes on the best restraints and toys for SL domination.
  • Too Many Toys?: When do scripted gadgets become more of a distraction than a roleplay aid?
I have acquired ownership of a FemDom group, which I will be using to distribute information on the round table as things develop. If you have suggestions for topics or events, or you feel you'd like to contribute in some way, please IM me in-world for an invite. I don't have a date set in mind yet; we'll have it when we have something worth presenting.

Hi, I can't find any contacts on your blog. Can I ask you to send a note for me? My email is in profile.
Thanks, Chris

If you're interested in the round table, just send me an IM in-world and I'll add you to our information group.
